Some Fun Facts About Me.

PASSION LED ME HERE

I am a pure-blooded Ilocano from the Philippines.
I came to the UAE in the year 2000 but moved to Germany in 2005.
I now live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
I am an Accountant and Finance Professional but have many several skills-set.
I learned all these skills set from my early childhood until today.
I love teaching, coaching, and being an adviser to MBA and Ph.D. candidates.
I earned my MBA and Ph.D. Degrees from the year 2009 until 2014.
I am good at playing tenpin bowling and Golf.
I used to sing in a choir group serving our church community and the Lord.
I read different types of books and maintain a pretty extensive collection.
I watch a lot of movies, and I used to run a weekly movie night.
I am the Vice President at ATLES INDUSTRIES and Head of Project Finance.
I am not anymore, but they're still cool.
I develop beautiful and responsive websites that works.
I am surrounded by great folks in the business and academic world.
I will be working as a freelancer for a while helping out clients with their websites needs.
I have a more detailed résumé if you're into that sort of thing.
The Pandemic has changed a lot of things – including our source of income.
But I am not giving up as I will be starting from my many experiences.
I have created my opportunities until I find a new job in the sustainability consulting landscape.
Or perhaps a new opportunity in the clean & green energy will open up for me.
It is what I am planning to do while exploring the right opportunities.

Success is sweeter when you put your heart into it that leads you all to the epitome of your professional and academic journey.

Thank you for this “Excellence” award. I am truly honored to receive it. It is an incredible honor to be placed in such distinguished ranks as those of the past honorees. All of them have made significant contributions to their organizations and the academe.

Special thanks go to Dr. Ren for giving the generosity to nominate me to the advisory committee, which evaluated all the nominations.

Thank you to my mentor, Dr. Ed Malagapo, and EPM for making this event possible. I am also thankful for the opportunity PCU, and Dr. Malagapo gave me as a faculty member, mentor, adviser, and friend to many – both the MBA and the Ph.D. students – to help them ease their hardships during their studies.

As the saying goes, “Thriving and Successful is the person who leaves the world better than they found it, who never fails to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves.”
